Description: Junior Engineer with demonstrable gauge making experience required for globally renowned automotive component manufacturer.
Salary: to £28k plus benefits
Our internationally renowned client specialise in the volume manufacture and supply of automotive components for distribution across the globe. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced engineer with a gauge making background to complement their established and professional team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with undertaking the sign off of gauges, working closely with the design team, customers and end users and following the gauges to site around the UK and Europe.
Flexible to undertake regular travel, you will demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience of working within a gauge making environment and will possess a full understanding of gauge R&R as well as a sound geometric dimensioning and tolerancing understanding, and essentially will have a good understanding of CMM process as well as the ability to analyse and utilise associated measurement data.
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and report effectively to the Senior Engineer, this is a varied and challenging opportunity within a globally renowned market leading organisation and is an excellent opportunity for any suitably experienced gauge engineer to progress their career to the next level.
