Description: Multi skilled Field Service Technician required to work on a range of equipment and machinery allied to the catering sector.
Salary: to £28k plus van plus benefits
Our client has been established for almost half a century and specialise in both planned preventative and reactive maintenance work on a range of facilities, HVAC and special purpose machinery allied to the catering, refrigeration and warewashing sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing program of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an additional field service professional to complement their established and successful team working specifically on commercial catering equipment.
Covering the West Midlands region, the successful candidate will be tasked with a range of fault find, diagnosis and repair activities as part of a reliable network of approved service partners providing prompt onsite support at a national level to ensure equipment down times are kept to a minimum and key performance indicators are met.
The service offering provided encompasses Air conditioning equipment, building services, catering equipment service, critical and comfort cooling design & installation and electrical installation and test work as well as heating service, refrigeration and Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) projects.
You will be Gas Safe qualified / registered and experienced in both electrical and gas fault find and repair activities and will essentially be COMCAT 1, 3 and 5 certified and 17th Edition IEE regs certificated.
With at least 5 years’ experience and a full clean driving licence, you will demonstrate previous knowledge and experience of working with ovens, food preparation machinery, prime cooking systems and warewashing and beverage equipment.
