Junior Assistant Maintenance Engineer – Nottingham (North)
Our client is recognized as one of the UK’s market leaders in the area of materials handling solutions, and as a result of recent positive internal restructuring and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit a junior multi discipline shift maintenance professional to join their existing established team.
The site operates on a 24/7 basis, and with the company priding itself on the high quality service it provides to its’ customers across the country, it is essential that they now recruit a similarly committed and highly professional junior maintenance team member to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards and the systems meet the required demands. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, core responsibilities for this mechanically biased shift maintenance position will include:
· Recovering errors on all automated system including cranes, conveyors and robots.
· Resetting errors due to product , equipment or operator
· Communicating and providing information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
· Carrying out basic maintenance activities.
· Assisting engineers with fault finding and maintenance activities.
· Supporting activities with company products and systems in response to customer requirements.
· Adhering to the various quality and reporting systems.
· Following escalation procedures.
· Adhering to all health and Safety requirements.
· Following all the company’s Health & Safety Procedures
This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and self motivated junior engineer to join a team responsible for the ongoing efficiency of fully automated cranes and conveyor systems that handle more than 30,000 pallets per month.
Working on a 3 shift basis (week of mornings, week of afternoons and week of nights – 8pm to 6am, 6am to 1pm and 1pm to 9pm), this is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably enthusiastic and committed individual to join an established and successful team within a modern working environment alongwith a mapped career progression path and excellent remuneration package being available.
