Description: Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer required for precision special purpose machine tool environment.
Salary: to £35k plus benefits
Our client has been established for more than three decades and specialise in the design and manufacture of highest precision special purpose machine tools and robotic automation solutions equipment for a diverse range of industry sector applications.
As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated and highly capable mechanical design professional to complement the activities of a busy and established team.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake complex 3D design activities on a range of special purpose machine tool projects for the automotive sector utilising the SolidWorks 3D modelling package, necessitating liaison with clients in order to understand and create solutions in line with their specific requirements and possessing the ability to follow projects through from concept through to handover.
To be considered for this varied and challenging position, it is envisaged that you will be qualified to at least HND Mechanical Engineering level and be able to demonstrate at least 3 years experience gained within a similar design environment.
