Our Client manufacture a wide range of global pharmaceutical products, and are seeking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to complement their established an successful team.
Working on a rotating shift (6am to 2pm – 2pm to 10pm) basis, the successful candidate will lead a range of manufacturing activities, providing operator support where required and both leading and sustaining a continuous improvement and culture change ethos, as well as ensuring consistent delivery against business KPIs.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will have worked in a fast paced production and manufacturing environment, ideally within Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry, and will be responsible for the effective allocation of resources on shift to ensure all planned manufacturing activities are carried out in accordance with cGMP and HSE requirements, coaching and supporting operators on shift to ensure “right first time” manufacture and documentation are achieved, implementing efficiency and yield improvements whilst ensuring day to day maximum yields achieved, and leading manufacturing deviation investigations including follow up (CAPAs) where required.
You will additionally review completed batch documentation and create associated technical reports, and you will ensure the proactive maintenance of a clean and tidy department and effective people management, ensuring the continuous movement of items through the production process as specified and working to the key process of Lean Manufacturing by improving business efficiency and effectiveness.
You will demonstrate a strong understanding of production principals and an ability to assimilate technical information, as well as excellent people skills to drive, motivate and engage with a diverse workforce to ensure best performance.
