Salary: £18k to £22k negotiable dependant upon experience
Our client has been established for almost 25 years and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of highest quality automation and materials handling systems and solutions for a diverse range of industry sector applications. As a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a local Purchasing and Accounts Project Administrator to complement their established and successful team.
Supporting the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be working within a busy design and manufacturing engineering environment, and tasked with performing a wide variety of essential administration and support duties for both technical and financial applications.
This exciting and varied role effectively combines two core areas, necessitating engineering procurement experience as well as previous financial control experience.
For the procurement part of the role, you will be a confident communicator able to liaise with suppliers whilst being able to understand technical drawings, parts lists and material scheduling documentation in order to effectively plan and procure relevant components and materials prior to project build. For the financial aspect of the position, core duties will include (but not be limited to) Stock Control, Purchasing, processing Sales orders, invoice generation and submission, payments and invoice control, financial reporting, payroll, tax return submission and general cashflow monitoring.
You will be IT literate and possess previous experience in the use of SAGE, and will demonstrate a proactive, dynamic and flexible approach in order to ensure the smooth flow of materials whilst keeping a close eye on the associated commercial aspects of multiple projects.
