Our client is renowned as a market leader in the world of special purpose machinery design and manufacture, and can demonstrate an outstanding record of growth based on providing consistently high quality bespoke solutions to a diverse range of market sectors.
As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, high calibre and committed Electrical Design Engineer to complement the established and successful team, and to be tasked with a combination of electrical hardware design and associated control software integration projects, from concept through to handover.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability and initiative to undertake multiple projects whilst reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and perform complex electrical design utilising Promis-E or AutoCad Electrical for panel layouts, schematics and general electrical drawings on a range of applications incorporating linear motors, drives, Control Panel GA’s, Cable Block Diagrams and Cable / Termination Schedules.
Additionally you will subsequently be involved in the integration of associated control software, ideally utilising the OMRON PLC platform although experience gained with other providers will of course be considered.
You will also be responsible for undertaking the production of associated Documentation Packages, following projects through to overseeing On-site commissioning and Calibration whilst complying with stringent and appropriate QA standards, so excellent communication skills and the flexibility to occasionally travel are also essential for the role.
