Our client has been established for more than 50 years, and are global market leaders in their niche product offering. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Quality Engineering professional to complement their established and successful team.
Based in Leighton Buzzard and reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will undertake a range of varied responsibilities, including the day to day quality of the manufacturing processes, dealing with quarantine product in a timely manner, providing support for manufacturing and the laboratory environments when required and leading continuous improvement projects.
You will be tasked with dealing with customer related issues using structured problem-solving to facilitate the investigation and response.
You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation to support ISO9001 (or chosen standards), and monitoring and reporting of KPI’s and providing data for monthly reports for the senior management team.
To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you will be educated to at least HNC level or above in a relevant engineering discipline or have at least 3 years experience gained in a quality engineering environment where you will have used problem solving tools and techniques.
Experience of Internal Auditing and Six Sigma or other lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies will be advantageous.
