Description: Multi lingual junior / trainee sales engineer required for busy and challenging inbound sales environment.
Salary: to £25k (negotiable dependant on language skills, qualifications and experience)
Technical sales and customer service professional required for an internal sales role within an international sales environment. Fluency in German and/or additional foreign language will be distinctly advantageous.
For over 25 years, our client has specialised in the design and manufacture of innovative solutions utilised in a diverse range of commercial building applications with over 75% of production being exported. As a result of increasing demand and as part of their planned programme of strategic growth, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic, self motivated and customer focussed International Sales Consultant to complement their existing sales team.
With projects ranging from single system installations through to vast commercial buildings, if you are able to demonstrate a successful background in sales and customer service in either a technical or mechanical engineering field and are looking for a challenging future in a growing industry, this position could be for you.
Reporting to the International Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be the first point of contact for UK and Overseas customers providing technical assistance, quotations and processing customer orders to ensure that customer requirements are met and the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained. You will carry out a range of duties, primarily using the telephone and email to liaise with UK and International customers on a regular basis; responding to all customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner; interpreting and understanding specifications and drawings; preparing quotations; entering orders and scheduling production to meet customer demands constraints of resources and stock . Strong commercial and cultural awareness and organisational skills are essential for this role.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels in English, and preferably other languages, with the ability to understand technical drawings and discuss technical subjects fluently. Strong IT skills will include experience of sales order processing and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision) and the MS Office suite of Software including using Outlook for communications and diary management.
