Our client specialize in the design and supply of equipment used in the treatment of domestic and industrial water and wastewater, and as a result of recent positive restructuring and a series of strategic acquisitions that have provided the organisation with recognized trademarks, cutting edge technology and access to new markets, they are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their established and highly successful Mechanical Projects Team at the West Midlands office.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of engineering and design activities including pressure drop calculations for pipework and overflow systems, equipment loading calculations for civil interface design, specification of valves, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks and other mechanical equipment and performing technical assessment of sub contractor bids, as well as quality management of sub contractors and root cause analysis of plant failures.
