Description: Mandarin speaking Head of Supply Chain required for globally recognised telecoms client
Salary: to £40k plus benefits
Our client specialise in the supply of an exhaustive range of products and accessories allied to the mobile communications sector, and as a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth for 2013, are now seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self motivated and dynamic Head of Supply Chain to complement their established and successful team.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, the successful candidate will demonstrate reasonable work experience in the wireless industry, alongwith an engineering background with key skill sets to include l understanding of hardware and software in mobile devices as well as skills and experience in effective supply chain and manufacturing management.
With an holistic understanding of technology and user experience and understanding of mobile applications including mobile payments and multimedia environments, you will demonstrate a good all round technical understanding of existing and future mobile platforms, and their differing UI standards as well as the ability to innovate whilst working both autonomously as well as part of a team.
With your proven track record in supply chain and manufacturing management and high level of enthusiasm for learning about new wireless products, devices and technology trends and will excel in multitasking on several products/platforms whilst adhering to strict budgetary and timescale constraints.
You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills which are data driven to communicate with technical leads and senior executives and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels from director boards, R&D teams, manufacturers and suppliers, and it is essential that you possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese to be considered for the post.
