Contracts Manager / Electrical Designer - Shropshire to £40k+ (neg dep exp)Our client specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of a range of electrical control systems for use in the process sector, and as a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Contracts Manager with Electrical Design capabilities to join their established and successful team.
Based in the West Midlands, the successful candidate will work on a range of water industry sector projects (working away when required and covering the greater Midlands region) and will work closely with customers in the production of detailed design and project costings, as well as creating cable schedules, cable calculations, single line diagrams and block wiring diagrams. Additionally you will devise risk assessments and method statements before coordinating multiple installation teams to ensure the completion of projects within budgetary and timescale constraints.
Ideally skilled in the use of AutoCAD with exposure to Amtech proving distinctly advantageous, you will work on a diverse range of projects incorporating control panels with PLC or relay logic and motor control gear with panel sizes varying from fractional horsepower starters to full Motor Control Centres, and you will undertake feasibility design, scoping for quoting and scheduling of both manpower and materials for projects so excellent organisational and project management skills are critical for the position.
