Description: Enthusiastic and experienced Design and Detail Draughts persons required to use SolidWorks for a range of automotive component manufacturing applications.
Salary:to £30k plus benefits (negotiable dependant upon experience)
Our established client, regarded by many within the industry as market leaders within their specialist sector and part of a multi-million dollar turnover operation, are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic, self motivated and highly capable Detail Design Draughtspersons to complement their existing established and successful team.
The successful candidates will demonstrate comprehensive skills and experience in the use of SolidWorks ideally (although proven experience in the use of other 3D solid modelling packages will be considered) and will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that will ensure a smooth integration into the existing established and successful department.
Additionally, you will demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience in working on a diverse range of projects, ideally allied to vehicle ventilation and air conditioning applications, in either the rail, defence or automotive sectors – and will be seeking a stable and progressive career opportunity within an impressive design function rather than merely “another job” – such is the committed ethos and culture of this dynamic environment.
Capable of performing electrical and mechanical design duties as well as demonstrating an appreciation of thermodynamics, you will ideally be qualified to at least HND in Mechanical Engineering and will demonstrate at least 3 years experience gained within a similarly professional and technically challenging systems solution design environment, with additional exposure to associated electrical design (gensets, panel layouts, wiring harnesses etc) proving distinctly advantageous.
