Description: Dynamic, successful and highly proactive meticulous Commercial Manager required for blue chip household product manufacturer

Salary: to £60k plus generous benefits

Established more than 25 years ago, our niche market client have developed an impressive reputation across the globe offering highest quality, innovative and unique products in line with specific customer needs, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a proactive, professional and highly self motivated and dynamic Commercial Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of product performance in terms of sales and profit channels of distribution and ongoing product marketing.

 

The role of Commercial Manager is newly created, and will require the successful candidate to demonstrate uncompromising unfailing passionate attention to detail in everything they do and with similarly high level expectations of their team and colleagues. 

 

You will be tasked with developing the product strategy of the organisation through innovation and original thinking, ensuring the product range leads the UK and Global Markets in terms of design, quality, safety and value for money, reviewing product performance and competitive positioning to ensure consistency with brand values and maintaining detailed knowledge and awareness of the product manufacturing process and associated features and benefits.

 

You will ensure that the product range consists of the right product, the right design, the right colour mix, retail price and packaging and of course profit – whilst adhering to corporate guidelines and guaranteeing sales through easy understanding by the consumer.

 

Additionally and where required, you will manage the product market team responsible for the naming of products and creation of product briefs, and the sales team in working to maximise all product sales and opportunities including launch strategies and pricing and promotion activities, whilst at all stages ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and understanding the critical path to achieve agreed deadlines.

 

This role is not for the faint hearted!
