Description: Experienced and enthusiastic Quality Improvement professional required for busy niche market engineerign manufacturing organisation allied to fluid power applications.
Salary: to £33k (negotiable dependant upon experience)
Our internationally renowned client specialise in the manufacture and provision of bespoke sealing solutions to the fluid power industry and having been established for more than a century, are renowned globally as market leaders in their niche sector. As a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and above all experienced Quality Improvement professional to complement their established and successful team.
Based within the prestigious flagship UK location in Middlesex and reporting to the Quality Director, the successful candidate will essentially demonstrate at least 5 years experience of working within the rubber industry, ideally allied to the aerospace or oil and gas sectors and preferably within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment, and will demonstrate proven experience gained within a quality control, inspection and measurement environment whilst working with rubber moulding and process technology in accordance to stringent AS9100-ISO9001 aerospace quality standards.
You will be qualified to at least HND level in a relevant engineering discipline, and will demonstrate excellent communication skills essential in liaising effectively with customers of all levels. Additionally you will be skilled in the management of continuous improvement meetings, as well as in conducting internal quality audits and the generation of FMEA’s, with additional experience in the setting of internal standards and initiating root cause analysis to 8D completion and six sigma / lean methodologies proving distinctly advantageous.
