Description:Experienced and enthusiastic multi skilled Maintenance engineer required with exposure to Facilities Management and BMS/HVAC/M&E environments.

Our globally renowned client are market leaders In all aspects of Facilities and Property Management for a range of commercial end users, and as a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and highly self motivated multi discipline maintenance professional to complement their existing team.Based in the Torry area of Aberdeen, the successful candidate will be tasked with the provision of professional, comprehensive engineering support whilst being fully aware of the statutory and contractual requirements of customer contracts. And will necessitate the development of strong relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure that all services are provided in a timely and cost effective manner.
Working as part of a team on a call out rota basis, you will demonstrate a working knowledge of HVAC M&E maintenance and will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance covering HVAC maintenance incorporating Commercial Gas works, and you will safely and efficiently install, maintain and repair a range of plant and equipment, as well as undertaking diagnostic and fault finding and carrying out routine servicing and commissioning across the Aberdeen area.
You will demonstrate a flexible and committed approach, as you may be required to assist on other contracts within the area from time to time, and will maintain plant, PPM, personal and vehicle records in accordance with company operating procedures and the contract requirements, whilst proactively identifying areas for additional works and/or projects within the Contractual requirements and reporting these to the Portfolio Supervisor with estimated material costs and labour requirements.
To be considered for this varied and challenging position, you will have achieved an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline as well as City & Guilds 2079 F Gas and will have served an apprenticeship or followed a recognised formal training programme and completed at least 3 subsequent years within a commercial related industry environment. It is essential that you possess a full driving licence and the ability to both cope under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a positive and proactive manner.
You will demonstrate excellent customer facing communication skills and possess a current Commercial Gas Safe Ticket as well as extensive experience in the Building Services, Facilities Management or the Maintenance industry as a recognised Trade Technician, as you will need a strong M&E background for PPM and reactive maintenance covering HVAC maintenance incorporating Air Conditioning and Commercial Gas works.
