Description: Multi skilled field service engineer required with demonstrable FLT repair experience.

Our client specialise in the supply of a range of bespoke handling solutions for a diverse range of commercial and industrial applications, and as a result of continued success and planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and highly capable Field Service Engineer to complement the existing team.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of both planned preventative and reactive fault find, diagnosis and repair activities on an exhaustive range of engine and electric powered reach / counterbalance trucks (diesel & LPG), warehouse pallet trucks, electric tow tractors & sideloaders within various busy customer distribution sites across the region, with additional experience of both heavy trucks or VNA / Narrow Aisle equipment proving distinctly advantageous.
You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and support, undertaking efficient fault find, diagnosis and rectification of faults on customer FLT equipment and ordering necessary spare parts where required, whilst adhering to all company H&S and environmental policies and procedures, working with minimal supervision and using your own initiative to ensure a “right first time” repair.
In addition to working in a customer facing environment, necessitating excellent communication skills whilst operating as an ambassador of our client, you will additionally possess excellent written, IT and organisational skills to ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and within required timescales, liaising with first line managers for the authorisation of parts and process order numbers whilst ensuring that all stock levels and movement records are maintained accurately and correctly.
