Description: 2 enthusiastic, self motivated and capable Mechanical Design professionals required to compliment an establsihed and successful design team undertaking a range of special purpose automation and materials handling design projects from concept to manufacture.
Salary: to £30k dependant upon experience
Our client specialise in the design, development and manufacture of highest quality special purpose capital plant equipment for a diverse range of engineering environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are actively seeking to recruit two dynamic, self motivated and highly capable design engineering professionals with relevant industry experience to compliment their established and successful team.
The successful candidates will be tasked with undertaking the design of a range of bespoke conveyors and materials handling solutions used in the manufacture of perishable FMCG products, and will demonstrate proven experience in taking such designs from concept through to low volume manufacture, ideally gained within the chemical, brewing, food, pharmaceutical or textile sectors.
Qualified to at least HND level in a relevant engineering discipline, you will have proven skills and experience in the use of Inventor and AutoCad for 2D and 3D solid modelling applications (although previous experience of SolidWorks may also be considered from a relevant industry background) and will be comfortable in liaising with both internal and external customers at all levels, and occasionally required to attend site visits for site dimension and layout calculation activities.
