The successful candidate will have a proven technical background gained within a process engineering environment and will demonstrate comprehensive skills and experience in the design, specification, manufacturing and troubleshooting of fluid filtration systems, alongwith excellent project management and organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with customers and suppliers alike.
This is very much a hands on role, that will involve travel to both domestic and overseas customer sites to assist with the installation, commissioning and training of customers on plant operation, so flexibility and excellent customer facing liaison skills are a prerequisite. Upon confirmation of the order, you will project manage the system/plant through to completion, which will involve working closely with sub-contract partners through to in-house assembly/test run before the plant is shipped to site, and you will then assist in the on-site installation, plant commissioning and on-site personnel training.
You will assist in specifying a detailed schedule of components, following on-site trials and in the pre-assembly of new plants in the workshop and at customer premises. It is essential that you be PC literate with a good level of AutoCAD knowledge to help with the preparation of detailed system layout drawings along with process flow diagrams, as well as possessing previous experience of the costing of individual components with sub-suppliers/contractors, undertaking the compilation of draft/detailed plant proposals and working closely with sub-contractors on all aspects of process system manufacture from electrical, mechanical, material selection and process/component improvement. In addition, you will work closely with customers on all aspects of on-going plant performance, implementation of plant maintenance contracts, plant health checks and plant operation troubleshooting and undertake the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, whilst developing filter cleaning procedures for each new installation where appropriate.
