Description: Exceptional opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to develop within a C# .net environment for a diverse range of exciting and challenging applications.
Salary: to £30k dependant upon experience.
Our truly global client operates hundreds of its’ highest technology bespoke systems worldwide and are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly self motivated Junior Software Engineer to report directly to the Technical Director and develop high quality software for use both in house and in the field in order to deliver the next phase of their planned strategic program of growth.
The successful candidate will be involved in the complete software life cycle, from requirements capture and design, through to implementation and delivery, supporting the field with issues and ongoing maintenance and working as part of the wider technical team to ensure that systems delivered are developed to sufficiently high standards.
To be considered for this challenging and exciting opportunity, you will be qualified to degree level in Computer Science or a related subject, and will demonstrate a minimum of 1 year C#.NET experience, familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008, experience of Win Forms development and an understanding of OO design (possible gained at university).
Additionally, a working knowledge of .NET framework 3.0/3.5 and experience of C++ / MFC development would prove to be distinctly advantageous, as would an understanding or experience of per pixel image processing algorithms and developing on a Linux/UNIX platform.
