Description: Senior Electrical Design professional required to coordinate the activities of a busy hardware/software project design and commissioning team
Salary: to £45k

As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, high calibre and committed Senior Electrical Design Engineer to compliment the established successful team.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability and initiative to manage multiple projects whilst reporting directly to the Design Manager / Automation Manager, with the ability to work in both a team based environment and autonomously on a range of duties and activities that will include Project Engineering/Management, liaison with Clients, Sub-contractors and other Company Divisions, estimating and generating Quotations, developing design specification, including bill of materials in line with complex customer requirements and Electrical Design, including Electrical Schematics, Control Panel GA’s, Cable Block Diagrams, Cable / Termination Schedules for a range of applications.
Principle Duties
•Control Panel design activities and design approvals
•Oversee & develop the efficient running of the company Control Panel Manufacturing Facility
•Develop new and nurture existing Customer Relations and assist in the ongoing optimisation of the Hardware Design Department including the development of new practices
•Keep a breadth of the market place with regards to new technology, competition and changing customer requirements.
Additional Duties
•Project Engineering and liaison with Clients, Sub-contractors and other Company Divisions.
•Control Panel Sales activities and both Estimating and generating Quotations
•On-site Panel Surveys, instrument calibration and commissioning activities
•Creation of Contract Documentation Packages & awareness of / Conformance to QA procedures
Skills therefore in Safety Circuit Design, SIL/Risk Assessment, Instrumentation, ATEX / Intrinsically Safe Systems and Pneumatics as well as the use of AutoCad will prove to be distinctly advantageous.
