Description: Avionics Systems Engineer required to compliment the activities of an established and successful team.

Our internationally renowned Client has an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer to work as part of their specialist engineering team as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth. The successful candidate will take responsibility for Systems Engineering and Systems Integration work on a niche range of major Aerospace Programmes based in the East Midlands region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, documenting and maintain documentation standards and providing guidance and templates for Integration documentation required during the system development phases, as well as undertaking System and subsystem Integration and qualification processes and plan’s (Laboratory and field tests) and having responsibility for the integration lab functioning and equipment availability, covering all Systems Engineering matters and disciplines (e.g. design, architecture, integrations, tests and flight tests) with an emphasis on system integration.
You will be tasked with a range of duties including:
· Support the Integration Control Account Manager (CAM).
· Plan the integration and qualification performance (activities, Labs, Equipment etc.)
· Produce, update and maintain Integration & qualification documents.
· Perform integration at system level and support integration of subsystems
· Manage the integration activities: Plan lab time and activity, Fault management etc.
· Coordinate integration lab usage and verify equipment functionality.
· Maintain Technical Specs and external interface requirement specification
· Capture and track Customer, User and/or System requirements throughout design and acceptance.
To be considered for this exceptional, challenging and highly rewarding opportunity, you will demonstrate a Degree in electrical/electronic engineering discipline or equivalent alternative, coupled with proven experience in system development programme, systems knowledge and experience, and associated system engineering activities including integration, verification and qualification, requirements management, systems engineering processes, interface control, product development.
You must have technical experience gained within a multi-disciplined project environment with significant subcontract content, including technical programme planning and risk analysis, and the ability to gain the requisite Security Clearance. Defence industry or other well established development process oriented industry experience will prove to be advantageous, as will experience of using systems engineering tools such as DOORS, and will demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, working in a multi cultural/multi national environment and being prepared to undertake Overseas travel and project work when required.
In return, the successful candidate will receive a very competitive remuneration package - £35,000 to £40,000 basic plus benefits including pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday and relocation assistance, if required.
