Description: Automotive manufacturing client seeks experienced and enthusiastic quality professionals to compliment their existing team.

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organisation based in Swindon, is seeking to recruit a number of Quality Control specialists to compliment their existing team of engineering professionals.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of working within a quality control environment, ideally allied to the automotive sector although this is by no means essential, and ideally within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.

Core responsibilities for the positions will include the investigation of production problems within a busy Quality engineering environment and summarising investigation results in order to promote prompt solutions and overseeing all aspects of IPP POPCAR documentation control, so it is essential that candidates be able to demonstrate good planning & organisational skills, PC literacy (Excel & Word), excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a busy / pressurised environment whilst attaining tight deadlines and effectively prioritising workloads.

You will additionally be responsible for the issue of quality problem reports to the supplier and tracking their replies, Monitoring Quality problem trends, evaluating suppliers' quality problem counter measure proposals and undertaking Follow Up visits to suppliers to confirm counter measure action plans and results.

In order to succeed in these challenging and exciting opportunities, it is envisaged that successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of CATIA or CAD in order to effectively interpret technical drawings, and you will be flexible, highly motivated and keen to progress your career within a similarly dynamic and challenging environment. Proven experience of working within an environment where compliance to ISO9001 and 14001 Systems is essential.
