Description: Mechanically biased Building Services professional required to ensure the delivery of manufacturing objectives through infrastucture
Salary: to £45k plus benefits and relocation package
Our globally renowned client create a diverse range of energy-efficient semiconductor products that enable various consumer goods systems to consume less power, extend battery life, and generate less heat, as well as applying this technology to other industrial manufacturing applications.
As a result of continued success, a vacancy has arisen for a Building Services Engineer to manage the operation of the site's mechanical infrastructure in order to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of services to all site activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing mechanical design and commissioning support to all projects and meeting safety, operability and cost objectives as well as assisting in the development of the site’s mechanical skills base to support existing equipment and to exploit new technology.

with additional knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning; refrigeration; steam and hot water; pumped water systems and local exhaust ventilation systems distinctly advantageous.
You will receive day-to-day guidance from the Site Services Manager and necessary training on existing and new systems, and will be expected to deal with problem situations as they occur and to communicate with engineers, managers and external vendors to resolve problems and to provide guidance to less experienced maintenance technicians.
You will therefore have attained a relevant qualification in building services or mechanical engineering, supported by at least 2 years experience of working in the built environment, and will be required to work a 40 hour week, 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday. In return , an attractive remuneration package with benefits including 29 annual holiday entitlement plus 4 statutory days, and will be eligible for immediate entry to the company Pension Plan with Free Life Assurance. You will also be eligible to apply for entry to the private health care plan and the stock purchase plan. The company also operates an employee variable plan for all eligible employees, which is directly related to the performance of the company and the individual - the target for this bonus is 14%.
