Description: A number of CNC Turners are required for our busy and established precision machining solutions provided.
Salary:to c£12 p/hr negotiable dependent upon experience
Our client has been established for more than a half century and are recognised market leaders in precision machining for a range of applications and market sectors, including Aerospace, Nuclear, Marine, Autosport and FMCG, for clients throughout the world. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth for 2016, they are now seeking to recruit experienced, highly capable and self-motivated CNC Turners to complement their highly successful team.
Ideally with previous experience of working within the aerospace sector and with demonstrable experience of setting and operating Mill/Turn Machining Centres, you will be tasked with a range of setting, programming (and editing) and operating activities on C and Y axis Fanuc controlled machines and carrying out assigned production cycles to stringent quality standards whilst measuring and checking components in cycle.
In addition to programming, setting and operating you will produce precision component parts from CAD and 2D engineering drawings to a high standard, and ideally will be Time Served or qualified by experience and will ideally possess experience gained in working with a variety of materials.
Able to work to precise tolerances and machine complex profiles, you will be self-motivated and capable of working both autonomously and as part of the team.
