Description: Experienced and enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Analyst required for our established and highly successful FMCG client.

Salary:£26k + benefits

Our client has been established for more than half a century and specialise in the sourcing and distribution of highest quality fresh FMCG produce to customers throughout the UK and Europe, employing more than 250 people and having numerous sites across the country. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of ongoing strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and proactive IT Infrastructure Analyst to complement their established and highly professional IT systems
team.

Reporting to the IT Systems Manager and working as part of a small Systems team, the Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for the availability and performance of the groups IT systems, covering servers, switches and telecoms, and will be responsible
for all aspects of problem resolution and proactive maintenance of infrastructure equipment.

You will be tasked with responding to incident and problem tickets on the in-house helpdesk software, and for the distribution of desktop equipment to users, managing and maintaining the Windows Server and Active Directory environments as well as the virtualisation technologies including Hyper-V and VMware. You will also be responsible for network management activities including switch and wireless configuration and for maintaining the systems security and virus detection systems.

Other duties will include providing support to users on desktop applications, including Dynamics Navision, Office 2010 and several other bespoke systems, and for the maintenance and implementation of associated documentation on systems and services. You
will keep up to date with technology and service developments within the industry and make recommendations where appropriate, and liaise with 3rd Party companies or contractors to resolve issues where required.

To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will essentially demonstrate previous experience in the use and support of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 administration and VMWare & Hyper-V Virtualisation Technologies, Active
Directory Management and GPO administration and both Microsoft Exchange 2010 and SQL Server 2008 administration.

You will be experienced in backup and DR solutions and Terminal Services administration with additional knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and Telecoms administration. With comprehensive knowledge of Networking Principles, SharePoint Administration and Server Hardware and Management including Storage Arrays, additional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2013 and above and of Reporting Systems (Jet Reporting) will prove distinctly advantageous.
