Description: Dynamic, proactive and experienced VOIP Infrastructure Solutions Sales professional required for market leading office technology provider.

Salary: to £30k + car + generous commission + benefits

Our client specialises in the provision of an exhaustive range of office technology products and services to an impressive and diverse range of customers throughout the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and extremely proactive Voip Sales Consultant to complement their established and successful team.

Reporting to the Group Professional Services Manager and based from home covering the Midlands region, the successful sales and business development candidate will be tasked with identifying and increasing Voip Infrastructure sales from both the existing company client base and new clients across the region, and both developing and maintaining valuable and long lasting professional business relationships at all levels with clients that will utilise Document Management, Network Support, Cloud Services and Managed Print solutions in both the public and private sector.

A natural leader with essential entrepreneurial and organisational abilities, you will skilled in communicating a compelling vision and will excel in inspiring customers and internal teams respectively to achieve goals and drive the business forward, identifying new project opportunities in infrastructure with particular focus towards the supply of server & desktop hardware, end user software & server based software systems, cloud & hosted solutions, Leased Lines & structured cabling to a considerable estate of SME customers.

Utilising vertical and solution skills to detect new opportunities and making full use of all available resources, you will work with various distributors and selected partners to detect, maximise and secure opportunities adding value to the business. Working closely with customers on a face to face basis, you will attend appointments made and advise on all aspects of the IT services available to a technically informed level, and follow these through to generate sales to achieve set targets. You will be conversant with lease finance deals and the ability to price and quote potential deals efficiently and accurately, and will be responsible for the production of all technical software and solutions based documentation in support of all sales - to
include Solution Design & Statement of Works that cover all the details necessary for the project to be handed over efficiently and accurately to the support team to install.

In order to keep up with advancements in technology and stay ahead of the competition, you will essentially maintain and update your own solution and "IT" knowledge levels to a consistently high standard, and with your exceptional communication skills at all levels, liaise with the support teams to acquire the necessary hardware and software required and oversee all projects sold through to handover, whilst closely liaising with fellow sales team members to ensure that there are conflicts of interest with “same customer” sales. You will report weekly on the status of projects being undertaken, leads generated and meetings booked and maintain full visibility of an accurate calendar at all times.

To be considered for this varied and challenging position it is essential that the successful candidate be able to engage, motivate and participate cross functionally with all partners and shareholders at all levels, with the ability to apply entrepreneurial  drive and build executive relationships at client level and prospect as well as adapt quickly and smoothly to changing operational requirements.
You will be skilled in both defining and executing competitive solution sales plans to win business and demonstrate strong negotiation skills and experience in leading contract negotiations. Previous experience in complex, solution selling with in depth sales experience and a strong understanding of Microsoft, Software licensing, Virtual, Hosted and hardware technology and competitor positions are critical for the position.
