Description: Experienced vehicle inspectors required for market leading inspection and appraisal house.
Salary:to £30k + expenses and benefits
Our client has been established for almost a century and employs more than 35,000 staff across more than 50 countries, and are renowned as market leaders in the diverse inspection and appraisal sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a number of sub contract Vehicle Inspection Engineers to support their established and professional team.
With positions available in various regional territories that include South Essex, West London, North London, North West London, Pontypool and Harrogate, the roles report in to the Operations Manager and are home-based Field operations positions, operating as a sub-contractor for our client and conducting vehicle inspections to exceptionally high standards and reporting accordingly.
With instructions relayed from the Head Office deployment centre, you will receive inspection appointment details within a broadly defined geographical region and upon completion of such inspections, then generate an inspection report that is to be submitted in an accurate and consistently high quality manner, utilising any of your own tools if required that will conform to current required legislation during the course of the inspections.
Committed to the highest levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring thorough, unambiguous and accurate reporting at all times, this is an excellent opportunity for a technical specialist to be part of an expanding and forward thinking team, and it is envisaged that successful candidates will have previous experience in formal vehicle maintenance, servicing or MOT, with a City & Guilds level 3 or HNC/HND equivalent and preferably be a member of the IMI or IRTE. You will be working alongside Head Office staff so must be able to demonstrate strong team working skills and be able to contribute to the development of new procedures to improve the performance of the business.
Essentially you will possess a full clean driving licence, your own transport with insurance for business use and have (or be able to attain) professional indemnity liability insurance.
