Description: Enthusiatic and experienced (although trainee roles are also available) electrical and mechanical Field Service Engineers required for our commercial catering service and repair client.
Salary: to c£40k negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications + vehicle + uniform + overtime
Our established and highly successful client specialised in the service and repair of commercial catering equipment to a range of clients throughout the London and South East region, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer to complement their professional and customer committed team.
The successful candidate will be based within any of the KT, TW, W,UB,HA or NW region postcodes and will predominantly work on a 5 day operational basis although occasional weekend calls may arise, and will undertake both planned preventative
and reactive maintenance and warranty service work on a range of Lincat badged Rational Combi Ovens, as well as warranty and non-warranty repairs on the full Lincat gas and electric range to equipment.
Visiting customer’s premises that will include Schools, Hotels, Restaurants, Offices, Café or anywhere that Commercial Catering Equipment is used to produce food, you will carry service, repair or installation activities and on repair calls, will be required to fault find and if possible carry out a fix on a first visit. The equipment will range from the very basic electrical items with just a switch, thermostat and element up to the top end self-cooking centres (Combination Ovens) that are fully electronic controlled, and all variations in between.
Covering West and North West London with some City work, you will ideally be Comcat’s 1,2,3 and Comcat 5 qualified and ideally possess demonstrable experience gained on Combination Ovens, although training may be given in this area. As an experienced Gas Catering Equipment Engineer, you will demonstrate excellent customer facing communication skills and be committed to the highest levels of “right first time” workmanship and customer satisfaction.
This position is open to both experienced or basic trained engineers with a strong appreciation of electrical installation or fault finding work, and in return, an attractive remuneration package, company vehicle and uniform are provided along with regular training direct from manufacturers to ensure you are kept to date with product developments and technological advances within the industry are available.
