Description: Experienced senior estimating professional required to join an established an highly successful team delivering highest quality automation and materials handling solutions to clients throughout the UK.
Our client are recognised market leaders in the design, development and implementation of automated materials handling solutions for supply throughout the UK and Europe, and as a result of an ongoing success and continued programme of planned strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager Designate to complement their professional Solutions team and undertake the analysis, modelling and design of automated materials handling solutions and create associated technical proposal documentation to support ongoing project bids and tenders.
Reporting to the Head of Department and with responsibility for estimating projects of up to £10m in value, the successful candidate will provide support to the Solution Design Team with the development of multiple Projects, liaising closely with both Internal and External Suppliers to obtain costs, assess the most appropriate equipment and creating requirement documents for Suppliers to bid.
You will present cost prices to the project team and Board for approval and constantly maintain an awareness of technical developments in the marketplace to ensure bids utilise the most up to date technology solutions, and will both arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities to ensure ongoing awareness at all levels.
Able to demonstrate exceptional team leadership and communication skills at all levels, you will liaise extensively with the finance, sales, systems and solutions teams as well as with customers and automation suppliers – and armed with a full understanding and knowledge of the solutions portfolio available and how best to use these in line with customer requirements, will excel in delivering solutions that meet customer requirements and justify their return on investment.
