Description: Experienced Programme Manager with experience of condition based monitoring and reliability centred maintenance required by our globally recognised client to ensure consistency and best practices.
Our client is part of as multi-billion-pound global organisation employing more than 70,000 staff in more than 100 countries and are recognised market leaders in their niche manufacturing sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Reliability Engineer to complement their established and professional team based at their Rotherham facility.Reporting to the Asset Management Team Leader, the successful candidate will be an experienced programme manager, able to focus on two key areas of the business – the condition based maintenance and reliability of gas plants and equipment, and the cooling water management programmes across various manufacturing facilities, performing regular condition assessment, RCA and reliability reviews and ensuring that processes and best practices are in place to ensure plant and equipment are optimally maintained, operated and monitored in order to ensure safe operation and the highest levels of reliability and efficiency are achieved.
An excellent communicator at all levels, you will excel in the management and coordination of suppliers, relevant technical authorities and teams of experts that will allow you to develop and implement strategies, plans, common standards and workflow processes across various sites in the portfolio, necessitating liaison with site personnel, procurement teams and outsourcing partners to define how all the various parties cooperate together with each other, whilst essentially ensuring ongoing compliance through engagement with relevant personnel, audits and more formal Steerco meetings, utilising KPI’s to monitor compliance and ensuring focus remains in the right areas, and resources & finances are used to greatest effect.
Another key area of responsibility for this varied and challenging role is the identification and implementation of training where needs are identified within the business, from creating training needs analysis profiles through to the development of training materials and resources and the delivery of training courses where required.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity within an internationally recognised blue chip client, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience of reliability, RCA and monitoring in a special purpose or plant equipment environment.
You will possess excellent numeracy, budgeting and data analysis skills and have previously worked in a programme management environment, having been responsible for the management of outsourced resources and suppliers committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
With your ability to undertake workflow / business process mapping activities and both read and understand P&ID’s, engineering drawings, manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, you will be an excellent communicator at all levels with exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities.
