Our client is part of as multi-billion-pound global organisation employing more than 70,000 staff in more than 100 countries and are recognised market leaders in their niche manufacturing sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanically biased (multi skilled) Maintenance Technician to complement their established and professional team based in the Morden area of Wimbledon.

To be considered for the varied and challenging role (working Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm) you will be a highly enthusiastic mechanically biased individual with ideally an additional trade (Electrical or Instrumentation) and will understand the requirement to follow SHEQ standards and company operating procedures diligently.
Working closely with the Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams to plan and execute all PPM and reactive breakdown repairs effectively, it is envisaged that you will realistically have completed a Level 4 Apprenticeship (or equivalent trade experience) in Mechanical Engineering with Electrical or Instrumentation experience preferred and previous experience of operating in a manufacturing, engineering or scientific environment.
You will be comfortable in working both autonomously and as part of a team and will be an excellent communicator at all levels, with a good level of IT proficiency in using the MS suite of packages.
