Our client has been established for almost a decade and specialise in the provision of wastewater solutions from design through to delivery with both municipal and industrial clients across the UK, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and flexible Graduate Environmental Engineer to complement their highly professional team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the operation and maintenance of the company’s pilot equipment projects on water and wastewater treatment plants UK wide, conducting and overseeing sampling activities as required and delivering samples to the laboratory for analysis. You will also prepare, calibrate, operate and maintain equipment and instruments at customer sites across the country, and conduct quality control analysis of water and wastewater and analyse the subsequent laboratory results before creating written reports and providing analyses to the site manager or Director.
As the role is field based, you will essentially hold a full clean UK driving licence and be flexible to conduct (fully expensed) overnight stays during the week as required and assist in process commissioning as necessary – and as one of the first projects is based in the Manchester area, it is envisaged that the first 7-10 months could be based in this location hence the need for flexibility to stay away as required.

You will be self-motivated, hard-working and reliable with good attention to detail and problem- solving skills.
You will have attained a degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent and ideally demonstrate at least 2 years commercial environment experience, ideally gained within a relevant wastewater application although training will be provided.
