Location: Home based - Southern England region - able to be based in Oxford, Worcester, Northampton or surrounding areas

Description: Multi skilled electrical / electronic field service professional required to deliver the highest levels of customer satsifaction and support on a diverse range of high complexity scientific instruments and medical imaging systems.

Salary: c£40K + vehicle + benefits

Our client has been established for almost 30 years and are recognised as global market leaders in the supply of scientific instruments and complex system solutions for a diverse range of customers and applications across the world.

As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an organised, self-motivated and experienced multidisciplinary field service engineering professional to complement their established and successful team.

Ideally based in the South Midlands region (Worcester, Northampton, Oxford, Milton Keynes etc) and tasked with covering the whole of the Southern half of the UK (with occasional trips further afield as necessary), the successful candidate will realistically be qualified to at least HND level or above in a relevant electrical or electronic engineering discipline and essentially demonstrate comprehensive skills and experience in fault find, diagnosis and repair to component level on complex precision electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation.

Previous experience of working on scanning electron microscopes, MRI, MR or CT scanners, medical imaging equipment, semi-conductors or mass spectrometers in a field-based capacity will prove distinctly advantageous, along with exceptional communication skills at all levels.

As the role is mobile, a full clean UK riving licence is essential for the position.

Responsible for the planning of your own diary and spares management, the role consists of both PPM and reactive breakdown call out and repair work where you will be tasked with liaising with the customer to understand the issues before undertaking fault find, diagnosis and repair on a truly impressive and highly technical product portfolio.
