Our client is recognised as an industry leader in the niche transport solutions sector covering the London area. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth within the Technical division and organisation as a whole, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, experienced and enthusiastic Maximo Asset Management Expert to complement their established and highly successful team.
Committed to the highest levels of quality customer service and employing more than 3,000 people, the successful candidate will essentially demonstrate exhaustive experience in the use of the Maximo Asset Management system and will manage all aspects of system administration and module configuration whilst training both new and existing users of the system to become equally highly proficient users.
Reporting to the Head of Standards and Methods, you will be tasked with managing the asset portfolio within established financial controls whilst operating as the primary contact for all Maximo system users and associated IT support.
Core duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the implementation of Maximo and ensuring uninterrupted subsequent service of the Maximo system at all times, assisting in upgrades, modifications and access authorisation for users as required, liaising closely with suppliers, IT and system users to apply, test, verify fixes and patches and resolve any issues as they may arise, and to actively be involved in both supporting and leading Maximo system upgrade projects as necessary.
You will additionally be tasked with identifying and implementing Maximo system modifications and enhancements as required as well as training all users (including subcontractors) in their usage for asset management, and undertaking both archiving and data restoration activities as well as analysing and reporting on such data as required, and monitoring and performing regular audits on Maximo System performance and resolving any technical issues that may arise, whilst supporting all associated Maximo environments including test, development, training and production.
