Derscription: Focussed, experienced, capable and highly motivated Senior Systems Integration Test Engineer professional required for our established market leading automation solutions specialist.

Our client specialise in the design, development and implementation of automated materials handling solutions for supply throughout the UK and Europe, and as a result of an ongoing success and an aggressive programme of planned strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Integration Test Engineer to complement their established and highly successful team.
Tasked with providing input and direction into the systems integration test process whilst maintaining hands on involvement through the associated software test process, the successful candidate will have complete responsibility for the development of the software integration test team and for the delivery of all integration testing and commissioning elements of the project quality plan.
Required to travel to customer sites throughout the UK and Europe as required, success in the role will be measured on the quality of the delivered solution, overall project success and overall team performance, so the ability to be hands on whilst motivating and driving the team is essential in the role.
You will have extensive involvement in system design reviews from a test and operational perspective and in the build and development of in-house capabilities for integrated testing that are able to stand alone as well as complement those provided by the integration team themselves, and will also be involved in the identification and recommendation of product developments relating to test systems as well and in the development of the project quality plans and ensuring adherence through the project process.
Other duties will include undertaking test and commissioning of the software systems on customer sites and providing remote support to the client and commissioning team following project handover, whilst developing integrated test scripts and testing software systems in house as well as developing other simulation and testing tools as required, identifying areas of potential risk and utilising the JIRA project tracking system to report any faults in the core package software.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels and be confident in working autonomously as well as systems architects and engineering teams alike to determine appropriate test requirements. Able to travel as required, realistically the client is seeking a degree qualification or above in a relevant technical discipline along with at least 2 years previous experience gained within an automated warehousing or logistics systems solutions environment.
You will possess excellent prioritising, organisational and planning skills along with the ability to motivate and mentor your team, and essentially demonstrate a broad understanding of sensors for industrial automation applications, the ability to create realistic acceptance test plans and scripts and associated FAT testing and process reviews as required.
