As a company that continually invests in both the latest technologies in manufacturing and research and development activity, they have evolved into one of the top leading toolmaking companies in the country servicing the Automotive and Commercial Industries, and are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Tooling Design Engineer professional to complement their established and successful team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of activities including supporting the production department in day to day CAD activities as well as generating 3D models and 2D drawings using Vero Visi software, and will work on a range of press tool design and reverse engineering projects utilising precision GOM scanning systems and Geomagic software (with training available on both of these packages if required).

To be considered for this varied and challenging opportunity it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in the design of press tools within a manufacturing environment along with excellent problem solving skills, with experience of Visi Vero design software proving distinctly advantageous.
In return, an attractive remuneration package and a stable and progressive working environment are available to suitably experienced and enthusiastic engineers.
