Our client specialise in the provision of condition monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated and experienced Condition Monitoring Vibration Analyst to complement their established and successful team.
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, you will be skilled in the testing of machines and undertaking effective fault diagnosis on a range of equipment, as well as correctly determining fault types and performing additional tests to verify your analysis as required.
You will be a confident decision-maker and have extensive expertise in maintenance techniques and condition monitoring, including knowledge and experience of a range of equipment and machines including fans, compressors, conveyors, screens, pumps, blowers, cranes, mixers and stirrers. You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills at all level and will liaise extensively with both customers and the team of Condition Based Monitoring Engineers in the field, as they can be invaluable for information gathering as part of the decision making and reporting process.
Tasked with analysing vibration analysis data from the engineers working in a variety of industries across the UK, you will analyse vibration spectra, time waveforms, envelope and phase measurements in order to diagnose machinery faults whilst ensuring compliance at all times with operating and in-house procedures as well as external safe working procedures whilst accurately recording data, maintaining work records and working in line with the company ISO9001 quality system.
You will also be responsible for the integration of supplementary techniques such as ultrasound, thermography and oil analysis where applicable, to gain a better understanding of monitored equipment, and be able to compile clear and concise reports based on your findings.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role it is envisaged that the successful candidate will have completed Vibration Analysis Training: ISO Category II or equivalent – with experience gained in working with Emerson CSI2130 vibration meters and AMS Machinery Manager Software proving distinctly advantageous.
