Description: Articulate, enthusiastic and versatile General Office Assistant Manager required to undertake and support a broad range of office functions within a busy niche sector service and manufacturing environment.
Salary: c£24k - £27k neg dep exp
Our client has been established for more than 40 years and specialise in the planned preventative and reactive maintenance, service and repair of an exhaustive range of special purpose waste processing machinery to clients throughout the UK, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised General Office Assistant Manager to complement their established and professional team within a busy head office manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate a broad range of business support functions and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health and safety compliance and ISO9002 quality assurance within a busy manufacturing and service workshop environment.
Additionally, you will be involved in assisting the accounting and sales departments with general administrative duties, and whilst it is not expected that a candidate will have previous experience in all areas of the role, full training and support will be provided for a suitable candidate demonstrating a genuine willingness to learn and a flexible and versatile approach.
Key responsibilities and duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Overseeing H&S compliance
- Overseeing ISO9002
- Supporting the senior management team in a range of activities as required
- General administrative duties so strong IT literacy required
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will live in or around the Tamworth area and essentially demonstrate previous general office management support experience.
