Description: A superb opportunity for a multi skilled Field Service professional with exceptional customer facing skills to undertake installation, service, maintenance and training activities on a range of nice sector FMCG equipment.
Salary: £28k + van + generous overtime + benefits
As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and multi skilled Field Service Engineer to complement their established and highly successful team.
You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of appropriate parts and for ensuring that parts supplied under warranty are replaced free of charge from the supplier, whilst maintaining detailed and accurate records of activity using the online service management system.
To be considered for this varied and challenging but rewarding role, you will essentially hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience of working on the fault find, service and repair of electromechanical equipment.
With exceptional customer facing skills and a structured and methodical approach to fault finding, you will be a confident communicator at all levels to ensure effective liaison between both customers and the supplier technical team as required. It is accepted that once training has been undertaken, the machines are relatively straightforward to repair, so you will essentially need to develop an understanding of how to identify if a problem is machine, operator or working environment related and ensure that the root cause can be identified and rectified.
