Working as part of a team of 7 engineers, the role of Supervisor is effectively split 70/30 between supervisory and engineering administration activities, with H&S as a core value and the ability to identify, implement, analyse and review continuous improvement and 5S / lean activities within a busy distribution centre environment.

You will also be responsible for monitoring KPl's for the site and producing reports for the management team as required, whilst maintaining site spares / stock levels and re-ordering of spares as required, and updating training records, time sheets, holidays and arranging cover engineers as appropriate.
With previous successful experience gained in the leadership and management of a site based multi skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for all quality management systems on site so will possess previous experience in this area, and will both organise and plan all site maintenance activities and issue service schedule tasks to the engineers as necessary, as well as assisting in the training of new staff and dealing with any issues arising from this task, as well as issuing and closing off site work permits as required.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and self motivated maintenance engineer to join a team responsible for the ongoing efficiency of fully automated cranes and conveyor systems that handle more than 40,000 pallets per month. To be considered for this exciting and varied position you will be multi skilled and electrically biased and demonstrate relevant recognized electrical engineering qualifications, previous experience of working at heights and also of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
