Our client has been established for more than half a century and are market leaders in the sale and supply of welding consumables to clients across the UK.
As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and highly self-motivated Field Sales and Business Development Engineer to complement their established and highly successful team.
Offering one of the most comprehensive portfolios of welding supplies and associated welding machinery in the industry and committed to the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, the successful Field Sales Engineer will be tasked with the proactive identification of and introduction to customers and market sectors that will utilise welding supplies and equipment ranging from welding machinery, through to PPE clothing and associated consumables.
In addition to both stocking and distributing welding equipment and consumables, the company are also specialists in welding machine repair, servicing, calibration / validation and hire and are BSEN IS0 9001:2000 accredited, so customers know they are an organisation to be relied upon.
Based from home and reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be an articulate, well organised and driven individual capable of developing and maintaining valuable customer relationships across the Telford, Shrewsbury, Shropshire and North Wales region (so a full clean UK driving licence is a necessity), and essentially demonstrate previous welding equipment and welding consumables industry sector knowledge and experience gained within a relevant sales environment.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, it is envisaged that you will possess relevant experience gained in the welding sector and will be a confident and skilled negotiator and influencer able to communicate effectively at all levels with decision makers from SMEs to Corporate clients alike, drawing on your experience and representing this market leading organisation to grow your region successfully.
