Location: Leeds office base with UK coverage
Description: Experienced Senior Electrical Surveyor and Compliance Engineer required to work within a dynamic consultancy environment tasked with providing consultancy services including electrical and mechanical design and condition and complince surveys to an array of clients across the UK.

Reporting to the Principal Engineer and working within an ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 accredited environment, the successful Senior Electrical Surveyor and Compliance Engineer will be based from the Leeds office and will be required to travel throughout the UK, utilising “hot desk” facilities as required.
You will provide - independently or under direction as appropriate - a professional technical service encompassing compliance related surveys, feasibility studies, designing, specification, project management & commissioning and final account to meet all requirements of a client’s brief to time, budgetary and quality standards, and will undertake site surveys at client premises across the country utilising mobile technology to meet the requirements of the brief, utilising bespoke software and cloud data collection applications that allow for the prompt delivery of technical reports with clear analysis of the data required by clients and include the specification and management of remedial actions as required.
You will also develop and present project design proposals to a client following the external brief and internal discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead internal consultant or as member of a team, and prepare, ready for tender, specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and contract documentation as necessary. In conjunction with the client, you will issue contract documentation to tender, adjudicate and recommend appropriate contractor to meet project requirements and establish and agree clear responsibility as lead internal consultant for the project – and when acting as lead Consultant, undertake all aspects of project management as defined by the client in his letter of appointment.
Other duties will include maintaining an up to date knowledge of new techniques and technologies by participating in conferences and attending Continual Professional Development sessions as well as reading technical information available in various media sources, and you will be responsible for the provision of technical support and services to clients across the country and for undertaking the role as lead consultant on various projects as required.
