Description: Mechanically biased Field Service professionals required to undertake PPM and reactive maintenance and installation work on pumps and associated equipment.

Our client is globally recognised as a market leader in the manufacture and development of pump solutions for supply to an array of industrial clients throughout the world. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit three experienced Field Service Engineers across the UK to complement their established and successful team.
Working in a customer facing role, successful candidates will undertake both planned preventative and reactive breakdown maintenance activities on a range of pumps and related equipment, so previous experience of working within a pump environment along with exceptional communication skills at all levels are essential for the position.
To be considered for these varied and challenging opportunities, you will be comfortable in working both autonomously or as part of a team for extensive periods and will be proficient in creating and maintaining associated documentation detailing technical data generated by assigned tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures. You will provide timely communications on significant issues or developments and demonstrate a proactive approach to customer service and personal time keeping as well as flexibility in working hours to fit in with customer requirements. As the roles is field based, you will also need a full clean UK driving licence and be able to undertake regular overnight stays where required.
It is envisaged that successful candidates will come from a defence, automotive or similarly controlled industry with a strong understanding of service delivery and order systems, and will realistically possess relevant engineering qualifications and experience gained in the pump sector – with ex Royal Navy Marine Engineers being seen as potentially ideal candidates for the positions based on comparable experience.
Due to the nature of some client sites, successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD Security clearance before joining the business.
