Description: Dynamic and proactive Sales and Business Development Manager required for our globally renowned niche manufacturing sector client.
Salary: to c£55k neg dep exp + benefits
Able to be based anywhere in the UK, the successful Sales Manager will undertake extensive travel throughout the UK and internationally, and be responsible for the development and implementation of the company sales strategy to ensure the achievement of annual targets. You will proactively undertake the Business development of new opportunities, including identification and development of new customers, relationship building, and secure initial business through to the management of target account processing as well as the development of new markets, new sales channels or new applications that will prove commercially viable for the business as a whole.
Other duties will include supporting the resolution of customer complaints, warranty claims, accounts receivables, development of annual booking plans and participation in overall annual planning process, as well as submitting reports to the management team, visiting customers as business requirements dictate and identifying and coordinating marketing activities for the brand.
Previous experience of working in an engineering and manufacturing environment is required, with engines knowledge or heat transfer experience proving distinctly advantageous, and at least 5 years’ dedicated sales / account development and management experience is required for the position along with suitable engineering qualifications.
