Salary:to c£35k neg dep exp + vehicle + generous overtime
Our client has been established for almost 40 years and are a highly successful mechanical and electrical building services company that specialise in the design, installation and support of the complete range of mechanical building services to an extensive client base allied to the education, leisure, retail and health service sectors at locations across the country.
As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and self-motivated HVAC Engineer to complement their established Central London based team and support various contracts on both office developments and commercial premises within the area.
The role will consist of a mixture of planned preventative and reactive maintenance works on both new and existing mechanical services equipment and installations, and the successful candidate will essentially demonstrate previous experience in maintenance duties, trouble-shooting, repair work and minor new works to air conditioning & comfort cooling systems, ventilation systems, domestic hot & cold water systems, LPHW heating & water systems, controls systems and electrical installations.
You will be a highly self-motivated, flexible and articulate individual able to demonstrate exceptional customer facing skills and be able to interact with both clients, sub-contractors and suppliers and report to Directors as required.
Essentially you will possess FGas and basic electrical qualifications (with Commercial Gas Safe qualifications proving distinctly advantageous) and will be flexible to work as part of the call out rota and out of normal hours when required.
To be considered for this varied and challenging position, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be qualified to at least ONC / HNC level in Building services and demonstrate at least 3 years post qualification experience, and essentially possess a full clean UK driving licence.
