Salary: to £40k plus benefits Our privately owned client specialise in the development of fatigue analysis software for finite element models used in a range of industry applications including automotive, truck, off-highway, marine, military, off-shore, power generation, wind energy and medical engineering, to name but a few, and as a result of ongoing success are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, articulate, highly professional and self motivated individual to undertake worldwide sales (excluding North America) of the company state of the art suite of fatigue analysis software. The successful candidate will be responsible for extending an already impressive client list of internationally renowned companies from a wide range of industries around the world. As THE technical leader in the design and development of fatigue and durability analysis software, the company demonstrate exhaustive in-depth knowledge of fatigue which combined with expertise in associated software development, affords them a unique position in the field, and they are seeking an experienced business development manager to report to the sales and marketing director and undertaking a range of duties including generating and progressing sales leads by making technical presentations and attending conferences, making onsite and web-based sales and technical presentations , visiting sales prospects to discuss their requirements and present the software and its technical background and liaising closely with all internal and external customers. You will be adept in building and maintaining customer relations, closing sales leads, performing post-sales account management and liaising with the worldwide reseller network, and will have attained good engineering background with industrial experience and ideally a degree or higher degree in a maths/physics/engineering related topic. You will additional possess a sound knowledge of CAE alongwith some familiarity with modern methods of fatigue analysis, and be able to discuss technical requirements with specialist engineers and software application engineers all around the world.
