Ref: PTR10/929 Location: Dorset, South West of England Description: Highly enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated team player required to compliment an established division tasked with the provision of sales and support to a range of global customers. Genuinely exceptional opportunity within a globally renowned client. Salary: £25k - £30k dependant upon experience and German Language skills + bonus Our client has been established for more than three decades and is renowned as a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of Solid State Relay technology and related products, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of ongoing strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an extremely dynamic, enthusiastic and self motivated Technical Sales and Support professional to compliment their existing and highly successful internal sales team.
Working directly with new and existing customers, distributors, inside sales and regional sales managers, the successful candidate will provide all aspects of technical support for the companies exhaustive range of products, and will support the Field Sales Application Engineering team in all custom development projects by serving as a liaison between the customer / sales manager and engineering when necessary, updating projects within the defined CRM tool, and distributing technical information when available to all relevant parties.
Additionally you will manage the development of all custom product samples in the EMEA region and provide updates on the status of each to the FSAE or customer whenever requested, ensuring that accurate custom datasheets for each are created and distributed accordingly to the customer, either directly or through the FSAE or RSM, whilst working closely with the marketing and engineering teams in both suggesting and/or implementing new tools to improve the technical support efficiency, documentation and responsiveness in the EMEA region, such as cross reference lists, training and training materials, FAQs, etc.
The successful candidate will support EMEA regional sales managers and FSAEs in the development of training tools and presentations for distribution or sales training sessions, occasionally providing such training sessions personally, as well as supporting all regional prospecting activities with regards to identifying account potential based on technical reviews of website information, products brochures, etc.
It is envisaged the successful candidate will have attained at least an HND in Engineering / Electronics and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience working with industrial electronics or similar field, with proven experience gained in a customer service or sales position. With German languages skills and experience in project management and/or marketing proving distinctly advantageous, you will essentially demonstrate strong technical problem solving and customer service and sales skills, and be a team player capable and willing to work in a diverse and multilingual environment, so an organized, energetic, and customer service orientated approach is critical for the role.
