Ref: PTR10/857 Location: West Midlands Description: Dynamic, self motivated and technically superb Sales Management professional required to undertake global business development activities backed by an established and highly successful market leading organisation renowned as leaders in their niche market sector. Salary: to £35k plus benefits (bonus / vehicle / pension etc) Our client, established for more than a century and renowned globally as a market leader in their specialist field, are seeking to recruit a highly self motivated, dynamic and successful technical sales professional as a result of continued success and a planned programmed of strategic growth. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively promoting both company and product range into both the UK and global power generation markets, maximizing existing accounts whilst undertaking extensive business development activities in order to ensure a healthy flow of new business. Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline to at least HND level, you will demonstrate proven success and experience gained within a technical sales position allied to the Power Generation, Diesel engines or Heat exchange sectors, preferably in a B2B or Capital Equipment sales capacity, and ideally possessing an appreciation of PPEP and APQP processes. You will excel in the management and development of customer accounts both in the UK and overseas, and will demonstrate effective communication skills in liaising with customers at an engineering and technical level in order to ensure both ongoing customer satisfaction and the realization of maximum sales potential. Based from established premises in the West Midlands, you will be able to work efficiently as both part of a similarly dynamic and proactive sales team as well as autonomously, and you will demonstrate the ability to assess the market and devise and formulate strategies for future growth within the business. Additionally, you will thrive within a technically challenging environment where flexibility in travelling internationally at short notice is essential, and therefore a second European language will prove distinctly advantageous, as will a technical understanding of both heat transfer and mechanical duties required in engine and power generation cooling systems.
