Ref: PTR10/812 Location: East Midlands Description: Experienced and enthusiastic SCADA / Controls Engineer required for successful automation consultancy environment Salary: to £40k dependant upon experience Our client can demonstrate more than 30 years experience in the manufacture of bespoke automation solutions and are regarded by many in the industry as one of the leading automation systems providers in the whole of the UK.
As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced SCADA Controls Design professional to compliment their existing team.
Working with state of the art technology and equipment, the successful candidate will develop control software using a range of SCADA / PLC platforms including Allen Bradley, Siemens S5 / S7 and Mitsubishi FX and follow projects through from concept to customer handover, to clients both in the UK and Europe.
You will demonstrate experience in the creation and presentation of validation and FMEA documentation ideally allied to the Healthcare sector, and also occasionally be required to develop software around multi axis robotic systems utilized in a range of manufacturing applications to many industry sectors that include the automotive and pharmaceutical sectors, with projects ranging from simple software development incorporating laser and vision systems through to complete process design.
